Civics, Not Politics

The practical distinction is essential. Politics is the contest to obtain and use government power. Civics is WTP carrying out our duties as citizens. Godly Civics^TM does not ask worship centers to become political organizations. It asks believers to perform their civic duty with a Principle-centered measure.

That is why Godly Civics^TM is action, not merely knowledge. We can study Liberty, the Laws of Nature, factions, and our Founding indefinitely, but government changes only when WTP use that knowledge to choose, measure, and replace representatives at the ballot box.

Our Calling

The civic duty belongs to WTP. The Body of Christ does not need a new denomination, a new political party, or a national religious hierarchy. Individual believers already possess the vote, the duty of consent, and the freedom to act. Godly Civics^TM simply gives us a common Principle-centered way to use them.

Pulpit leaders retain their own Holy Spirit calling, doctrine, and DNA. Godly Civics^TM does not ask them to surrender their ministry or become political operatives. It asks our ecclesiae to recognize that Religious Liberty can survive only inside Social Liberty — and to prepare believers to defend both.

Unity Without Doctrinal Conformity

Christians may never unite in worship, doctrine, or ecclesia structure before Jesus returns. We do not need to. Godly Civics^TM requires no doctrinal merger.

Every ecclesia has two civic interests in common: Religious Liberty and the Social Liberty that contains it. Yahweh/Jehovah-Nissi — “The LORD Is My Banner” (Exodus 17:15) — gives believers a biblical image of unity under our Abba Father while doctrine and DNA remain intact.

The goal is not religious uniformity. The goal is critical-mass civic unity around Principles that protect everyone.

The Roles Are Different

Godly Civics^TM becomes easier when we stop expecting every person to do the same job. Pulpit leaders teach the biblical duty to glorify our Abba Father in all of life, including civics; teach the value of Social and Religious Liberty; and make room for Principle-centered civic education without turning the pulpit into a political-faction platform.

Ecclesiae provide a safe place to introduce Godly Civics^TM, identify a trusted civic leader or small team, distribute the materials, and encourage participation without demanding partisan conformity.

Individual believers study the Principles, score them, ask candidates to score them, vote, protect the voting process, and measure representatives by what they actually do in office.

Godly Civics^TM carries the believer-facing message. Liberty Civics gives believers a non-deity-facing resource to share with neighbors, coworkers, family members, and other citizens who may not accept Scripture as authority. WePEG1787^TM supplies the common Citizen’s Measure.

A Simple Ecclesia Implementation

Learn the framework. Begin with The Biblical USA View™ and the distinction between Social Liberty and Religious Liberty.

Name one leader. Identify one respected person or a very small team to coordinate Godly Civics^TM materials and communication. This is a civic function, not a new ecclesiastical office.

Introduce the Citizen’s Measure. Have believers read and score WePEG1787^TM for themselves. The objective is not to tell people how to vote; it is to give WTP a common governing measure.

Before asking a candidate to score it, believers should score it themselves. That changes the voter from a follower of personalities into an owner of governing Principles. The voter now knows what to expect before hearing a campaign speech.

Then send every candidate to WePEG1787.com. Ask each candidate to place a 0-to-10 agreement score in front of the Principles and publish the scores. The scoring reveals how the candidate says they will govern; the next election reveals whether the candidate kept that commitment.

Ask candidates to reveal themselves. Candidates seeking WTP’s vote should score the Principles so voters can see how they intend to govern. Failure to score leaves voters without the requested measure.

This levels the field for first-time and lesser-funded candidates. A candidate with strong Principle scores no longer needs to win a personality war or match unlimited political-faction spending dollar for dollar. The Body of Christ can find, share, and support candidates through the governing measure itself.

It also attacks the “politics of personal destruction” at its source. A smear does not change a Principle score. A slogan does not answer a Principle score. The candidate’s own score keeps bringing the discussion back to governing.

Take the message outside the ecclesia. Use Liberty Civics^TM when the audience does not share the believer’s starting point. The public-square case is Social Liberty, the Laws of Nature, research, measurable outcomes, and the best result for the most people.

Vote and measure again. Elect representatives by Principles, watch what they do, compare their governing record with their scores, and correct course at the next election.

No Political-Faction Test

Godly Civics^TM is not a substitute for a political faction. It is a way out of faction control. A believer does not have to become Red, Blue, Independent, or anything else to participate. Candidates are measured by Principles, not protected by labels.

That is also why Godly Civics^TM can invite back believers who have withdrawn from elections because they reject politics. We are not asking them to enter the political-faction theatre. We are asking them to enter WTP’s civic theatre and exercise the consent our form of government gives them.

The Ballot Is the Peaceful Instrument

Our Founding generation paid for Social Liberty with blood. Today, WTP possess a peaceful instrument they did not have before independence: the ballot. The Body of Christ is large enough to create critical mass when believers act together on governing Principles.

The objective is not confrontation. It is a replacement: replace personalities with Principles, political-faction loyalty with district loyalty, slogans with evidence, and election promises with measurable scores.

Three Websites — One Path

The three websites each have one job. GodlyCivics.com awakens and equips the Body of Christ. LibertyCivics.com carries the same Social Liberty and Laws of Nature case into the public square without requiring a faith premise. WePEG1787^TM.com is where the governing Principles become measurable civic action.

The path is simple: awaken the believer, understand the two Liberties, learn the Principles, score them personally, ask every candidate to score them, share the scores, vote, and then measure the representative again. That is the segue from Godly Civics^TM into WePEG1787^TM.

The North Star

Godly Civics^TM is a North Star that points believers back to our Abba Father’s 1776 Creation and forward to posterity. Our ecclesiae do not need to become campaign headquarters. They need to become disciple-making centers that understand the connection between Social Liberty, Religious Liberty, and the freedom to carry the Gospel to the next generation.

Point believers first to the New Awakening. Let Two Liberties — One Mission explain the strategy. Let All Believers explain the work. Point the general public to Liberty Civics. Let WePEG1787^TM measure every candidate who asks WTP for governing power.
